UAE stock markets close Monday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.54% to close Monday's session at 3,203.08 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 411.977 million after 176.11 million shares had been traded through 4,690 transactions.

Ithmaar Holding led the rising stocks with 7.57%, while United Foods Co (UFC) topped the losing stocks with 6.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.706% to settle at 8,704.26 points.

A total of 209.88 million shares were exchanged through 6,106 transactions valued at AED 1.46 billion.

Fujairah Cement Industries (FCI) headed the green zone with 5.17%, while The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) came on top of the red zone with 5.26%.
