UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session lower by 39.89 points (1.17%) at 3,354.43 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 403.02 million through the exchange of 131.15 million shares.

Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) topped the risers with 3.40%, whereas Ekttitab Holding led the fallers with 7.87%.

Emaar Development was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 32.43 million shares exchanged at AED 147.18 million.

Similarly, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.717% to close at 9,682.08 points.

A total of 185.13 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.28 billion, while the market cap stood at AED 2.06 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) advanced the gainers with 6.95%, whereas Gulf Cement Company headed the decliners with 7.95%.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 297.48 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 48.64 million shares were exchanged.
