UAE stock markets close Monday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session higher by 19.56 points (0.47%) at 4,183.14 points.

The trading value reached AED 665.29 million through the exchange of 242.59 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 321.61 million, while Shuaa Capital was the most active stock with 96.49 million shares.

Watania International Holding led the gainers with 4.62%, whereas Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (ASCANA) headed the losers with 9.74%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.023% to 9,787.56 points.

A total of 158.29 million shares were traded at a value of AED 989.55 million, while the market cap value hit AED 2.84 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 212.77 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 19.99 million shares.

Aram Group topped the risers with 14.98%, while Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) led the losers with 7.93%.
