UAE’s Mubadala Petroleum records 500,000 boed

UAE - Mubasher: Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Petroleum has reached 500,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day (boed), a 22% jump from 2021production, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Wednesday.

The energy company accomplished a series of developments and projects during the past 12 months, including the acquisition of a 22% stake in the Eastern Mediterranean's Tamar field, which is located offshore Israel from Delek Drilling.

Last May, the company’s Pegaga field in Malaysia reported gas production of 500 million standard cubic feet and 16,000 barrels of condensate per day.

Mansoor Mohamed Al Hamed, CEO of Mubadala Petroleum, said: “The strategy to grow our gas weighted portfolio in key markets where we can add significant value and build long-lasting partnerships is paying off."

It is worth noting that last September, Mubadala Petroleum signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Italy's Eni for further cooperation in the energy transition sector.
