UAE - Mubasher: Al Habtoor Group (AHG), a UAE-based business conglomerate, will open an office in Cairo in Egypt to act as a liaison office, according to a press release on Wednesday.
To be launched by the end of 2020, the office will connect the group's Emirati and international operations with Egypt and enable the group to explore local business opportunities which will strengthen its diversified portfolio.
Egypt will become the sixth destination for Al Habtoor to operate outside the UAE, namely that the group has a presence in the US, Austria, Hungary, the UK, and Lebanon.
The Founding Chairman of AHG, Khalaf Al Habtoor, commented: "Despite the world economic situation, Egypt is an important market to be in, with tremendous possibilities due to the reforms implemented by the Egyptian Government, and the infrastructural expansions taking place."
