UAE's 'Projects of the 50' expected to attract $150bn FDI

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE's 'Projects of the 50' initiative is expected to attract foreign direct investments (FDIs) worth more than $150 billion over the next ten years.

This initiative comprises a series of developmental and economic projects that aim to enable the UAE to become a comprehensive hub in all sectors and strengthen its position as a destination for talents and investors, according to a press release on Monday.

'Projects of the 50' covers various key sectors, including economy, entrepreneurship, advanced skills, digital economy, space, and advanced technologies.

The 2022 edition of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), set to be held on 29-31 March, will focus on this initiative.

The President of the Annual Investment Meeting Organizing Committee, Dawood Al Shezawi, said: "The key objective is to reinforce the UAE’s position as a global player across various industry verticals and increase our competitiveness across key sectors on the global level."
