UAE – Mubasher: The UAE has been placed first regionally and second in the world in the information and communication technology (ICT) adoption, according to The Global Competitiveness Report issued by the World Economic Forum.
In terms of digital legal framework, the UAE was ranked first across the Arab world and fourth in the world, as shown by the report.
The 2020 edition of The Global Competitiveness Report focuses on the priorities for recovery and revival from the coronavirus (COVID-19) economic repercussions and the ways to build new economic systems targeting productivity, people, and planet.
It is noteworthy to mention that the telecommunications companies in the UAE have invested AED 36 billion in infrastructure to offer fiber services and coverage.
