UAE - Mubasher: The UAE has been placed in the first position regionally and the tenth position globally in the overall influence of the Global Soft Power Index (GSPI) 2022.
The UAE ranked 15th globally in the overall GSPI ranking in 2022, up from 17th in 2021, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Developed by the British company, Brand Finance, the GSPI is a research study that assesses various axes of soft power and its positive influence across 120 countries.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, announced on his Twitter account: "More than 100,000 respondents across the world chose the UAE as the first regionally and 15th globally in the Global Soft Power Index 2022."
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid added: "The UAE’s soft power lies in its development model, which brings together the best ideas and minds across the world, and gathers people of all races to build the best development experience in the world."
