UAE - Mubasher: The UAE will open tourist visas to people from all countries who are fully vaccinated with one of the WHO-approved coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, effective from 30 August 2021, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that this decision comes in line with the UAE's strategy to balance between public health and the activities of vital sectors and recover the economy.
This decision also applies to citizens of all countries, including those arriving from the previously banned countries.
Passengers on tourist visas should undergo a mandatory rapid PCR test at the airport upon their arrival in the UAE.
