UAE markets still may see volatility amid low liquidity – Analysts

By: Mahmoud Gamal

Dubai-Mubasher: The UAE stock markets may witness further volatility on Wednesday, analysts told Mubasher.

The low liquidity which has not exceeded AED 500 million is among the negative factors the UAE markets have been facing recently, blocking the indices from holding and giving the chance for a speculative performance, said capital market analyst Basel Abo Teima.

The increases seen at the UAE stock exchanges are ahead of Eid Al-Fitr holiday, making good use of the positive performance of both global stocks and petroleum  markets as they are currently absorbing the shock from the UK’s vote to leave the European Union, the analyst added.
