Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The UAE minister of energy Suhail Al Mazroui expects oil and natural gas to account for 52% of the global energy mix by 2040.
The UAE will continue to commit to the OPEC-led output cuts throughout 2018, the minister noted.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) now seeks to decrease the carbon footprints of the oil industry, in line with the Paris climate accord, he further added.
