UAE - Mubasher: The total value of residents' deposits in the UAE banking system reached around AED 13 billion during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The cumulative balance of these deposits increased to AED 493.9 billion by the end of December 2020, compared to AED 480.9 billion in September 2020.
The residents' deposits in the UAE banks accounted for around 26.2% of the total deposits valued at about AED 1.884 trillion by the end of 2020.
