UAE - Mubasher: The UAE banking sector's total assets amounted to AED 3.169 trillion in April 2021, compared to AED 3.175 trillion in March, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The total banking credit in the UAE went up 0.5% to AED 1.763.2 trillion in April 2021 from AED 1.754 trillion in March, driven by a rise in domestic and foreign credit by 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively, according to the data by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
Meanwhile, the UAE banks' deposits reached AED 1.877 trillion in April 2021, compared to AED 1.881 trillion in March.
The UAE banking sector recorded AED 644.4 billion in monetary supply (M1) during April, up 0.3% month-on-month (MoM) from AED 642.3 billion.
