UAE - Mubasher: The UAE government has announced Friday, 1 January 2020, as an official paid holiday for all private-sector entities to celebrate New Year.
This announcement was made by the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, on the ministry's official Twitter account.
It is noteworthy to mention that on Monday, 28 December, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) of the UAE announced Friday as an official holiday for all ministries and federal entities on the occasion of New Year.
