UAE - Mubasher: The UAE has reported 1,590 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases to raise the total number of cases to 213,231, the UAE Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.
The ministry has conducted 125,232 additional COVID-19 tests to detect further cases.
The total number of recovered cases in the UAE reached 289,709, as 1,609 new recoveries were confirmed.
The UAE reported five deaths to bring the total number of deaths to 679.
It is noteworthy to mention that on Saturday, 2 January, the UAE announced 1,963 COVID-19 cases and 2,081 recoveries.
