UAE allocates AED 10bn for infrastructure projects underway in east coast

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure is implementing AED 10 billion infrastructure projects along the east coast of the UAE, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

This announcement was made by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, during his visit to a number of projects being carried out on the east coast.

Al Mazrouei remarked that these projects are part of the Ministry's 2018-2023 five year plan, including an investment programme.

The Ministry is upgrading the existing Sheikh Hamad bin Abdullah Road at a total cost of AED 250 million, in addition to the AED 96.7 million new headquarters of the Fujairah Police.

The UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure further remarked that the Ministry is overseeing 104 dams and levees, with a total capacity of 130 million cubic metres.
