UAE - Mubasher: The UAE-India remittances corridor is the world's fifth-largest corridor, with around $15 billion worth of remittances from the UAE to India in 2019, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
This announcement was made in the IMF's working paper entitled 'Fintech Potential for Remittance Transfers: A Central America Perspective'.
The working paper focuses on the world's top remittance corridors by the end of 2019 and the potential for fintech to facilitate cheaper and more efficient remittances.
The world's largest remittances corridor is the US to Mexico corridor, followed by the US-Central America corridor, and the US-China.
