UAE Central Bank's foreign assets rise 16% in November

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Foreign assets of the UAE Central Bank rose 16% to AED 330.3 billion by the end of November 2017 from AED 285.16 billion the same period a year earlier, the bank's data said on Thursday.

Total foreign deposits hiked 108%, while other foreign assets declined 56% in November 2017 versus the prior corresponding period, the data showed.

Assets of banks operating in the UAE grew to AED 2.687 trillion in November from AED 2.639 the previous month.
