Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has welcomed the announcement made by Brazilian tourism minister to send a delegate to the UAE in a bid to explore cooperation means in the field of tourism.
Brazil’s delegate will also promote the Latin American country as a promising and attractive tourist destination, according to an official statement.
“Enjoying vibrant ties across sectors, the UAE and Brazil have long focused on tourism as one of the strong focal points to further strengthen their economic and trade alliance,” secretary general and CEO of ABCC Michel Alaby commented.
The UAE and Brazil have signed a visa waiver agreement under which leisure, business, and transit travellers can stay up to 90 days every 12 months in each country by providing a valid passport upon arrival at no cost.
“The UAE businessmen who come to Brazil for tourism will find in São Paulo the house of the Arabs in Brazil, the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce’s headquarters, to support them in search of trade and investment opportunities,” Alaby said.
