Two stocks push ADX down at Sunday open

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) decreased 0.35% or 15.74 points, reaching 4,536.75 points in Sunday’s early trades.

By 10:50 am UAE time, the real estate sector dropped 2.01% as Aldar Properties declined 2.5%, while the energy sector levelled down 1.6% after Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and Dana Gas tumbled 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively.

The banks sector shed 0.39% as First Abu Dhabi Bank went down 0.5%.

Trading volume reached 22.09 million shares through 291 transactions, generating AED 28.55 million.
