Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Monday’s trading session in decline, amidst a negative performance by major market sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) lost 1.18% or 79 points and closed at 6,603.96 points.
The traded volume amounted to 212.88 million shares, compared with 148 million shares on Sunday, while turnover reached SAR 4.47 billion, up from SAR 2.74 billion.
The banks and energy sectors lost 1.77% and 0.70%, respectively, while telecom rose by 0.40% and materials closed on a marginal 0.01% increase.
Tabuk Agricultural topped rising stocks and surged by 9.98%, while Alhokair was the biggest loser and dropped by 9.94%.
Dar Alarkan was the most actively traded stock with 36 million traded shares, while Al Rajhi logged the highest traded value with SAR 553.467 million.
In the Nomu – Parallel Market, the NomuC index retreated by 1.15% and closed at 6,863 points.
