Riyadh - Mubasher: The number of companies listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadwul) with losses exceeding 50% of their capital has now risen to 13 companies, after Tihama’s and Malath’s announcements.
Total losses have reached SAR 7.06 billion ($1.9 billion) for the 13 companies combined.

A total of 8 companies have reported accumulated losses ranging between %50 and 75% of capital, while one company’s losses exceeded 75% but remain under 100%, and 4 companies’ losses exceeded 100% of their capital.
Only two companies, Al Mojil Group and Etihad Atheeb, account for 67.59% of total losses, with SAR 4.77 billion.
Tadawul started in June 2014 displaying coloured markers on the bourse’s website, with yellow flags for companies with losses more than 50% of capital, and orange for 75% and red for those exceeding 100%.
