Tadawul falls, Nomu rises at Monday open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) shed 0.23% or 16.08 points to 6,952.67 points at Monday’s open.

By 10:49 Makkah time, 31.9 million shares were exchanged through 13,550 transactions at a value of SAR 478.57 million.

The telecom sector led the worst performers and fell 2%, followed by the media and real estate sectors which decreased 1.1% and 0.8%, respectively.

The material and banks sectors also went down 0.1% and 0.06%, respectively.

Mobily topped the 86 losing stocks and declined 7.5%, while Alhokair led the 57 gaining shares and hiked 9.97%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market inched up 0.08% to stand at 5,012.97 points.

Arab Sea topped the green zone and rose 1.5% to SAR 15.90.
