Tadawul down in week; market cap loses SAR 14.7bn

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed the week ended on 3 December 2020 on a negative note as the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched down by 0.21% or 18.50 points to close at the level of 8,674.97 points.

Market cap plunged by SAR 14.70 billion during the week, bringing the market cap value to SAR 9.25 trillion.

Banks retreated by 1.39%, while the real estate and telecom sectors went down by 1.07% and 0.65%, respectively, and energy levelled down by 0.10%.

On the contrary, the materials instrument added 0.76%.

Around 2.304 billion shares were exchanged during the last week, down 6.08% on a weekly basis. Meanwhile, turnover grew by 0.19% to reach SAR 67.07 billion.

Naseej International Trading Company headed the winners with 29.7%, followed by the Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company with 29.13%. On the other hand, Anaam International Holding Group led the losing stocks with 18.83%.
