Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday’s trading session in decline, after rising for the past eight consecutive sessions.
The all-share index (TASI) lost 2.01% or 140.50 points as it closed at 6,865.74 points.
A total of 195 million shares were traded through 197,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 3.7 billion.
SAICO led the rising stocks, adding 8.57%, while ANB was the top loser and declined by 6.68%.
Alinma topped the trading activity with 16.41 million traded shares through SAR 269.5 million.
The materials sector decreased by 2.97%, while banks and energy lost 2.52% and 1.11%, respectively. On the contrary, pharmaceuticals increased by 1.13%, while the software sector added 2.01%.
As for the parallel market, the Nomu index lost 3.60% or 221.11 points and closed at 5,923.72 points.
