Tadawul closes Wednesday on mixed note; majority of sectors fall

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday’s session down by 259.13 points (2.48%) to 10,185.14 points.

The turnover amounted to SAR 3.68 billion after 115.29 million shares were exchanged.

Except for the commercial and professional services segment which rose by 0.26%, all Tadawul’s sectors closed in red and were led by the banks with 3.88%.

Tourism Enterprise Company led the fallers with 5.37%, while Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company headed the risers with 9.61%.

Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company was the most active stock on which 11.13 million shares were traded, while Al Rajhi Bank recorded the highest turnover of SAR 372.06 million.

On the other hand, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed the session higher at 18,727.66 points after gaining 221.63 points (1.20%).

Future Care Trading Company advanced the risers with 23.31%, while Saudi Networkers Services Company led the fallers with 3.45%.
