Tadawul closes 0.21% lower

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday falling 0.21% or 13.76 points to the level of 6,464.84 points.

Trading volume reached 258 million shares exchanged at SAR 4.2 billion through 90,000 transactions.

The real estate sector was the best performer after rising 1.04%, followed by the construction and retail sectors with a growth of 0.57% and 0.53% respectively.

Meanwhile, the transportation and energy sectors shrank by 1.98% and 0.79% respectively.

Gulf General Cooperative Insurance led gainers by adding 10% to SAR 15.95, while Arabian Pipes topped losers after falling 5.12% to SAR 13.92.

Dar Al Arkan was the most traded stock with a volume of 54.6 million shares, whereas Alinma Bank made the highest liquidity of SAR 627 million.
