Tadawul Main Market Index falls 9.24% in 9M-26

Riyadh — Mubasher: The Main Market index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended the first nine months (9M) of 2026 at 10,440.64 points, representing a decrease of 1,062.33 points or 9.24% compared to the same period of 2025.

The index reached its highest closing point for the period on 15 April 2026, when it touched 11,589.05 points.

Upon the published statistical report for 9M-26, market capitalization at the end of the period stood at SAR 9.12 trillion, a decline of 2.08% year-on-year YoY from 9M-25.

Trading activity also saw a contraction, with the total value of traded shares falling by 11.82% to SAR 894.25 billion.

Despite the lower value, the total volume of shares traded rose by 1.88% to 45.46 billion shares from 44.62 billion shares in 9M-25.

The total number of executed transactions reached 79.47 million, reflecting a decrease of 13.54% from the 91.91 million deals recorded in the prior-year period.

These results were achieved over 183 trading days, compared to 185 days during 9M-25.
