Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) shed 0.4% or 24.75 points to 6,949.79 points at Tuesday's open.
By 10:38 Makkah time, 24.01 million shares were exchanged through 12,970 transactions at a value of SAR 517.14 million.
The media sector led the worst performers and fell 0.92%, followed by the food and beverages and energy sectors which decreased 0.9% and 0.84%, respectively.
The material, banks, and telecom sectors also lost 0.47%, 0.30%, and 0.2%, respectively.
Aldrees topped the 91 losing stocks and decreased 2.96%, while Alhokair led the 66 gaining shares and increased 4.7%.
Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market lost 3.4% to stand at 4,796.44 points.
Raydan Co led the red zone and declined 6.6% to SAR 29, while Arab Sea solely rose 0.4% to SAR 15.90.
