Mubasher: The main market’s All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) as well as its Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) ended Sunday’s session with an upward performance.
Similarly, the indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed the session in the green zone
Saudi Arabian Stock Market
TASI rose by 122.03 points (1.07%) to 11,546.15 points. The turnover totalled SAR 4.59 billion after 231.68 million shares were exchanged.
The media segment headed the gainers with 5.37%, while the transport sector was the top decliner with 1.18%.
Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company (Cenomi Retail) advanced the risers with 10%, while Malath Cooperative Insurance Company was the top faller with 9.94%.
Al Baha Investment and Development Company recorded the highest trading volume with 58 million shares, while Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) dominated the biggest value of SAR 540.27 million.
NomuC also closed the session higher by 17.93 points (0.08%) at 23,598.63 points.
Sure Global Tech Company headed the rising stocks with 5.79%, while Gas Arabian Services Company led the fallers with 9.49%.
Egyptian Stock Market
The EGX30 main index levelled up by 0.82% to 17,856.07 points.
Likewise, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI closed the session in the green zone at 3,599.46 points after going up by 0.55%.
The EGX100 EWI also rose by 0.72 to 5,324.93 points.
The turnover reached EGP 1.78 billion through the trading of 593.09 million shares. Meanwhile, the market cap value hit EGP 1.21 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 13.45 million and EGP 2.81 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 16.27 million.
