TASI rises on Tuesday; NomuC falls

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday higher by 84.08 points (0.67%) at 12,674.34 points.

The turnover increased to SAR 12.17 billion through the trading of 266.79 million shares, compared to SAR 11.89 billion and 264.75 million shares a day earlier.

The materials sector was the top gainer with 2.51%, while the media segment led the decliners with 2.85%.

Scientific and Medical Equipment House was the top riser with 16.57%, while SABB Takaful led the fallers with 4.87%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate posted the highest trading volume of 19.07 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank recorded the largest turnover of SAR 896.06 million.

On the other hand, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) lost 21.75 points (0.09%) to close at 25,000.96 points. 

Raoom Trading was the top faller with 3.51%, while Saudi Azm for Communication and Information Technology Company, which has started trading on Tadawul today, advanced the risers with 30%.
