Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 62 points, or 0.8%, to 7,864.7 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 35 million shares exchanged through 24,880 shares with a liquidity of SAR 667.7 million.
The retailing, materials, telecommunication services, and banking sectors levelled up 3.3%, 1.05%, 0.64%, and 0.39%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector inched down 0.17%.
The Saudi Cable Company’s stock was the best performer with 9.96%, followed by Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia’s (Zain) stock with 8.87%, while National Medical Care Co.’s stock fell 1.65%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market tumbled 33.52 points, or 1.35%, to 2,451.01 points.
Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock went down 2.38%.
