Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.51% or 36.66 points reaching 7,261.84 points.
Traded volume on TASI reached 106.4 million shares on Monday, against 90.23 million shares on Sunday, while trading value rose to SAR 2.53 billion ($675 million), from SAR 1.94 billion ($517 million).
The consumer services sector levelled up 2.92%, followed by banks with 0.88%, and materials with 0.42%.
On the other hand, the food and beverages sector went down 1.1%, while the telecommunication services sector shed 0.18%.
The Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock grew 6.26%, closing at SAR 24.62, whereas Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Khodari Sons Company’s (Al Khodari) stock fell 2.46% to SAR 9.50.
Al Inma Bank’s stock, up 1.85% and closing at SAR 17.08, was the most active in terms of traded volume on TASI after 30.2 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 512.62 million.
In the meantime, the NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market decreased 0.82% or 28.98 points to reach 3,511.76 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock lost 3.91%, closing at SAR 12.28, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock inched up 0.4% to SAR 12.56.
