Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) returned to gains on Thursday, growing by 0.26% or 22.90 points to settle at 8,807.02 points.
Turnover reached SAR 6.467 billion today, up from SAR 5.17 billion a day earlier. The trading volume amounted to 177.805 million shares.
The materials sector levelled up by 0.8%, retailing gained 1.67%, and telecommunication services rose by 0.82%.
On the contrary, energy and banks inched down by 0.08% and 0.03%, respectively.
Baazeem Trading Co. headed the rising stocks with 10%, whereas Mouwasat Medical Services Co. came on top of the falling stocks with 2.70%.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. led the trading activity through exchanging 9.580 million shares, while Baazeem recorded the largest turnover of SAR 466.87 million.
As for the parallel market, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed down by 1.45% to 25,927.97 points.
