TASI records fifth rise in row on Monday, NomuC falls

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday at 10,551.23 points, registering its fifth rise in a row.

The trading value amounted to SAR 13.4 billion after trading 464.2 million shares, compared with SAR 12 billion and 408.59 million shares in the prior session.

The media and entertainment sector was the top gainer with 9.25%, while the pharma segment led the decliners with 3.03%.

Saudi Research and Media Group headed the risers with 9.28%, while Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment led the fallers with 3.69%.

Saudi Advanced Industries was the most active stock on which 30.71 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 1.35 billion, the highest trading value.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed the session lower by 1.44%.

National Building and Marketing was the top faller with 4.68%, while Watani Iron Steel led the risers with 3.76%.
