Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its gains on Tuesday for the second session in a row after growing by 0.17% to settle at the level of 8,682.11 points.
Turnover stood at SAR 7.897 billion while the trading volume reached 220.959 million shares.
The materials sector gained 0.31% while banks and telecoms rose by 0.37% and 0.08%, respectively. On the other hand, energy was down by 0.10% and insurance fell by 0.09%.
Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries Co. headed the gainers with 9.98%, whereas Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development was the top decliner with 4.44%.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. led the trading activity through the exchange of 16.691 million shares, whilst Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. logged the biggest turnover of SAR 499.48 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) inched down by 0.70% to reach 24,849.97 points.
