Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) continued the upwards trend for the third consecutive week, supported by the banks’ sector gains.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) added 0.92% or 66 points this week, and closed at the level of 7,245.66 points.
Traded values amounted to SAR 14.5 billion, with a total volume of 676.2 million shares, compared to SAR 14.8 billion and 777 million shares in the week before.
Market capital by nearly SAR 15.3 billion ($4.08 billion) to reach SAR 1.713 trillion by the end of the week.
As for the sector’s index, banks led the gainers and rose by 1.6%, followed by REITs with 1.2%, while materials and telecom levelled up by 0.5%, and 0.28%, respectively.
Media and publishing was the biggest decliner and dropped 3.98%, followed by utilities with 1.85%.
The main index of Nomu-Parallel Market went up by 2.5% or 86.4 points, and closed at the level of 3,515.65 points.
Traded volumes in the parallel market amounted to 406,000 shares, with a total turnover of SAR 8.6 million.
