Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session 0.83% or 59.3 points lower at 7,115.8 points; the lowest level in 40 days since 20 June.
Tadawul’s trading value reached SAR 2.5 billion after 102.7 million shares were exchanged.
Zain Saudi Arabia was the top loser with a fall of 5.5% to SAR 8.83 in line with the disclosure of the company’s financial statements.
Tadawul’s food retailing segment led decliners with 2.1%, while the media sector topped gainers with 8.1%.
Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market gained 0.67% or 25 points to close the session at 3,778.4 points.
Nomu’s turnover stood at SAR 2.9 million after 84,000 shares were traded.
Development Works Food was the top winner with a fall of 2.4%, closing at SAR 65.
