TASI falls 1.19% at Sunday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Sunday’s trading session on a negative note after dropping by 1.19% or 104.47 points to 8,702.55 points.

Turnover surged to SAR 9.7 billion today from SAR 6.5 billion in the previous session. The trading volume came in at 251.175 million shares.

The consumer durables and software sectors rose by 0.87% and 2.85%, respectively. On the other hand, energy and materials fell by 0.4% and 1.45%, respectively, while banks tumbled by 1.48%.

Halwani Bros. Co. came on top of the rising stocks with 9.95%, whereas Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co. topped the falling stocks with 3.47%.

Alinma Bank led the trading activity through the exchange of 10.171 million shares, while Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. generated the highest liquidity of SAR 714.96 million.

The Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) shrank by 3.04% to 25,139.59 points.
