Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday down, while the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market opened the session up.
By 10:50 am Saudi time, the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 0.22% or 16 points to 7,159.1 points, pressured by negative or disappointing financial results for several listed companies.
Zain’s stock led losers, sliding 5.3% to SAR 8.85, after the company logged only SAR 8 million in profits in the second quarter of 2017, whereas quarter-on-quarter, profits dropped 82%.
Turnover on TASI amounted to SAR 555 million after 23.3 million shares changed hands.
In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market index grew 0.64% or 24 points to reach 3,777.2 points. Turnover on Nomu reached SAR 450,000 after 17,000 shares were traded.
