Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged up by 0.71% or 61.81 points on Wednesday to close at 8,721.18 points.
Turnover hit SAR 11.8 billion and the trading volume reached 372.825 million shares.
Energy and materials hiked by 0.46% and 1.40%, respectively, while banks added 0.77% and telecom grew by 0.16%.
Basic Chemical Industries Co. topped the winners with 10%, whereas Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) came on top of the losers with 5.07%.
Methanol Chemicals Co. led the trading activity through the exchange of 27.895 million shares, while the Saudi Arabia Refineries Company (SARCO) logged the highest turnover of SAR 893.98 million.
In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) slid by 1.43% to reach 19,978.38 points.
