Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its losses for the second successive session on Monday after falling by 0.62% to reach 8,648.43 points.
Turnover amounted to SAR 8.9 billion where around 218.6 million shares were traded via 367,300 deals.
All of the market’s sectors were down, with energy and materials dropping by 1.25% and 0.5%, respectively. Likewise, banks levelled down by 0.25% and insurance decreased by 0.43%.
Halwani Bros. Co. was the top gainer with 9.9%, whereas Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. led the decliners with 4.42%.
Abo Moati for Bookstores Company led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 16.322 million shares at SAR 877.9 million.
The Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) edged up by 0.38%, settling at 25,234.49 points.
