TASI down 0.81% on Thursday; turnover at SAR 6.8bn

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell on Thursday by 0.81% or 70.55 points to settle at the level of 8,689.53 points.

Turnover came in at SAR 6.79 billion where nearly 210.6 million shares were traded via 300,802 deals.

All sectors dropped, with energy and materials inching down by 0.21% and 0.73%, respectively, and banks, telecoms, and insurance dropping by 0.95%, 0.96%, and 0.73%, respectively.

AYYAN Investment Co. topped the gainers with 7.14%, whereas Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. led the decliners with 3.96%.

Moreover, AYYAN led the trading activity after exchanging 13.869 million shares, while Ash-Sharqiyah Development Co. achieved the highest liquidity of SAR 670.3 million.

Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) climbed by 5.1% to 26,245.46 points.
