Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by 2% or 248.63 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 12,656.23 points.
Turnover amounted to SAR 10.37 billion after 264.39 million shares had been traded.
The energy sector led the gainers with 5.21%, while the utilities segment topped the losers with 5.51%.
Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) came on top of the green zone with 11%, while Saudi Electricity Co. headed the red zone with 3.05%.
Saudi Electricity Co. recorded the highest trading volume of 28.73 million shares, while Alinma Bank posted the highest turnover of SAR 845.30 million.
As for the parallel market, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) retreated by 1.19% or 290.94 points to reach 24,726 points.
