TASI closes Wednesday higher; NomuC falls

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday at 11,156.63 points after rising by 0.14% or 15.6 points.

The turnover totalled SAR 5.08 billion through the trading of 139.78 million shares, compared to SAR 4.8 billion and 133.76 million shares in the previous session.

The insurance sector topped the gainers with 0.84%, while the software and services segment led the decliners with 1.91%.

Batic advanced the risers with 7.82%, while Amana Cooperative Insurance led the fallers with 4.44%.

National Industrialization (Tasnee) registered the highest trading value and volume of SAR 290.93 million and 14.02 million shares, respectively.  

Meanwhile, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) declined by 119.65 points or 0.49% to 24,405.26 points.

Banan Real Estate was the top faller with 4.85%, while Al Naqool and Development Works Food were the only risers with 2.13% and 0.26%, respectively.
