TASI, NomuC rise on Wednesday for 4th session in row

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange’s (Tadawul) main index (TASI) closed Wednesday higher by 118.7 points (1.08%) at 11.143 points, continuing to rise for the fourth consecutive session.

The trading value amounted to SAR 7.42 billion after 187.54 million shares were exchanged, compared to SAR 7.22 billion and 182.35 million shares in the previous session.

The majority of the sectors increased, topped by the retail which added 2.91%. Meanwhile, the food and staples segment headed three decliners with 0.45%.

Saudi Industrial Development topped the risers with 9.2%, while Alinma Tokio Marine was the top faller with 3.07%.

Dar Al Arkan registered the highest trading volume of 7.76 million shares, while Tourism Enterprise generated the highest turnover of SAR 420.55 million.

Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) gained 724.19 points (2.96%) to close at 25,208.89 points.

There were no fallers by the end of the session, while Alhasoob headed the rising companies with 16.42%.
