Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday at 11,199.84 points after losing 115.48 points (1.02%).
The turnover reached SAR 7.16 billion through the exchange of 224.47 million shares, compared to SAR 5.36 billion and 144.98 million shares last session.
Except for the media segment which rose by 1.42%, all sectors declined, led by the consumer durables which went down by 2.5%.
Emaar The Economic City headed the risers with 3.06%, while Arabian Shield was the top faller with 4.66%.
Dar Al Arkan remained the most active stock with 49.11 million traded shares, while Al Rajhi Bank continued to record the highest turnover of SAR 701.75 million.
Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) fell by 752.32 points (2.82%) to 25,952.44 points.
National Building was the top faller with 8.28%, while Burgerizzer as well as Al Naqool were the only risers with 1.72% and 0.94%, respectively.
