Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s session higher by 144.58 points (1.17%) at 12,495.22 points.
The turnover increased to SAR 10.03 billion after 243.45 million shares were exchanged, compared to SAR 8.51 billion and 191.50 million shares in the previous session.
The health care sector topped the gainers with 2.35%, while both the capital goods as well as the software segments were the only decliners with 0.10% and 0.23%, respectively.
Elm Company, which has started trading today, headed the risers with 30%, while East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry led the fallers with 2.58%.
Zain KSA posted the highest trading volume of 20.39 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank generated the highest value of SAR 1.01 billion.
Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) rose by 133.87 points (0.53%) to close at 25,287.28 points.
Alwasail Industrial topped the risers with 8.96%, while Gas Arabian Services was the top faller with 1.13%.
