TASI, Nomu rise at Wednesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the green zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.2% or 13.99 points, reaching 6,981.34 points.

By 10:38 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 29.14 million shares, through 13,670 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 528.04 million.

The real estate investment traded funds (REITs), media, capital goods, materials, and banks sectors levelled up 1.9%, 1.2%, 0.7%, 0.11%, and 0.09%, respectively.

On the other hand, utilities sector inched up 0.08%, and telecommunication services sector edged down 0.02%.

The stocks of AlJazira Mawten REIT Fund, and Al Babtain Power and Telecommunication rose 3.4%, and 2.6%, respectively, whereas Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock shed 0.8%.

The main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU grew 0.01% or 0.39 points to 2,846.38 points.

Arab Sea Information System, and Al-Kathiri Holding Company stocks increased 0.6%, and 0.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the stocks of Development Works Food, and Raydan Co tumbled 3.2%, and 0.16%, respectively.
