Riyadh - Mubasher: Southern Province Cement Company has opened nominations for membership on its board of directors for a new three-year term.
The upcoming session is scheduled to commence on 1 January 2027 and will conclude on 31 December 2029.
The company confirmed that the board will consist of nine members. The nomination period begins on 5 October 2026 and will remain open until 5 November 2026.
Interested candidates must submit their applications and required documentation, including Curriculum Vitae Forms 1 and 3 issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA), to the company’s headquarters in Abha or via email.
According to the disclosure, candidates must comply with the Companies Law and Corporate Governance Regulations.
Key requirements include that a nominee may not hold more than 5 board memberships in listed joint-stock companies simultaneously.
Furthermore, the final board composition must include at least two independent members, or one-third of the total board, whichever is greater.
The election of the new members will take place at a future General Assembly meeting, the date of which will be announced later.
